Oneida D. DeLuca to contact Oneida click here Oneida has an extensive background in consulting and project management. Before starting Birchwood Consulting Group with her partner, she worked as a Senior Consultant for a "Big Five" accounting and consulting firm, leading business systems consulting projects in manufacturing, healthcare, and service organizations. She has experience as an internal consultant for two of Central PA ’s largest employers providing operational analysis expertise, guiding reengineering and improvement projects, and leading cost-reduction activities. In addition, Oneida was a production planner for a Fortune 500 manufacturing corporation and periodically teaches undergraduate healthcare administration courses for Penn State-York and Lancaster campuses. Oneida has a B.A. degree in Physics from Franklin & Marshall College , a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University , and an M.S. degree in Health Administration from St. Joseph 's University. Also, she has completed graduate work in Industrial Engineering and Management while working as a teaching and research assistant at North Carolina State University . Oneida is a graduate of Leadership Lancaster, a 2005 recipient of the “Best 50 Women in Business” award presented by the PA Dept. of Community & Economic Development, and a 2002 recipient of the Forty Under 40 business leadership award presented by the Central Penn Business Journal. In addition, she is the Chair of the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board, a member of the board of the Lancaster Heart Foundation, a member of the Lancaster Rotary, a judge for the Lancaster Science & Engineering Fair, a Diplomate in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers . Pozesky to contact Bob click here Bob has extensive experience in applying business improvement strategies both as a consultant and as an operations leader. Prior to co-founding Birchwood Consulting Group, he was the Vice President of Operations for a management services organization. In this role, he guided the restructuring of daily operations, improvement of key business processes, and development of a management reporting system while returning the organization to profitability. Bob has also worked in various roles providing a breadth of consulting services centered on process redesign and management to the manufacturing, service, and health care industries. Bob has a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and a dual Masters of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University . He is a Certified Quality Manager with the American Society for Quality. Bob has also completed his initial Fundamentals of Engineering certification in progress towards licensure as a Professional Engineer and has completed post graduate course work in Healthcare Management. Bob is a long-time member of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lancaster County, a 2004 Forty Under 40 award winner presented by the Central Penn Business Journal, a 2002 Graduate of Leadership Lancaster, a Senior Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, a Senior Member in the American Society for Quality, a member of PMCA, a judge for the Lancaster Science & Engineering Fair, and is a baseball coach with the Hempfield Youth Association. Denis Marino to contact Denis click here Denis has extensive industry experience derived from numerous positions of increasing scope and complexity attained over the last 30 years. Prior to launching his own consulting practice in 2006, Denis was President of one of the largest divisions of a major heavy equipment manufacturer. Prior to that, he held numerous executive positions, including VP Sales and Marketing and executive over distribution operations while employed by the largest manufacturer of HVAC products in the world His career began as a Sales Engineer in a field office in New York City. Denis has a Masters of Science degree in Business and Management from Purdue university and a Bachelor of Science degree, Mechanical Engineering, from New York Institute of Technology. He has attended numerous courses on leadership and HVAC design fundamentals. Alan M. Cotich to contact Alan click here Alan is a consultant with a primary focus on the food industry and has over 30 years experience in engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance and research and development. In addition, he serves as the NutriCore National Nutrition Research Initiative Project Coordinator for the York County Economic Development Corporation. Prior to becoming a consultant, Alan was President of Lukas Confections, VP of Operations for Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, and served as Plant Controller, Industrial Engineering Manager and Production Manager during his tenure with M&M/Mars. He also worked for William Underwood’s canned meats division in several positions, including plant manager. Alan has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston and an MBA from the University of Delaware . He is an active member of the Institute for Food Technologists, the Institute of Industrial Engineers , the Airplane Owners and Pilots Association, the American Coaster Enthusiasts, and the Northeastern University Alumni Association. In addition, he serves on the boards of the York Division of the American Heart Association, chairing their American Heart Walk, and the PMCA, an international association of confectioners where he chairs the Long Range Planning Committee. Residing outside of Millersville in Lancaster County with his wife Rebecca and two sons, Alan enjoys flying, golf, skiing, and serving as assistant coach to his sons’ lacrosse teams. Carol A. Park to contact Carol click here Carol is an accomplished Project Manager of Automation, Distribution, Warehouse Management Systems, and Lean Manufacturing projects. Carol has managed projects to design and implement systems ranging from $10,000 to $30 million. Carol performs cost analysis for assembly, warehouse layout and design, consolidation, lease vs. buy, Shop Floor Control Systems and WMS. Carol’s project involvement includes specification development, bid evaluation, implementation management, training (ISO documentation), team management, and overall accountability. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Carol was Vice President of two consulting firms. She also worked as a Project Manager for St. Onge Company and St. Onge, Ruff & Associates. Carol has served on projects across many industries, including Food, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Aerospace, Beverage, E-Commerce, Retail, Government, Consumer Products, and Apparel. She has five years experience as an internal industrial engineer with a major manufacturer. Carol has a B.S. of Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. She has been a guest lecturer at Penn State and various Simulation Conferences and is an active member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Outside of consulting, Carol is restoring a Tree Farm and establishing a Stewardship Plan on a property that has been in her family since 1846. Carol is an avid sailor and racer. She was a Collegiate All-American and was listed in Sports Illustrated “Faces in the Crowd” in 1976 and 2002.
